Anne Pell, ACCOMPANIST/REHEARSAL CONDUCTOR Anne Pell has lived on Bainbridge Island for 15 years. As a child she studied piano, voice and music theory at the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, MA. Anne received her BFA in Music from Cornish College of the Arts in 2005. She has been a working accompanist since age 12, playing for high school musicals, church choirs, and various vocal and instrumental soloists. Anne teaches piano full-time, specializing in jazz. She teaches youth jazz ensembles and young composers workshops. Anne also accompanies the Bainbridge Violin Studio. Anne has accompanied the Bainbridge Island Chorale for 10 seasons, and performed with them at Benaroya Hall in 2003. In 2010, Anne assumed the position of Music Director and Conductor of Schola Nova, a 16-voice a capella women's choir which sings a monthly Evensong service at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church on Bainbridge.
