Lori Anderson
Lori has been singing in organized church, school and community choirs since the age of 8. She has been a member of the Bainbridge Chorale for many years, perhaps 12 of the last 15 years. She believes that current director Michael Miller is the seventh director she has sung under while with the Chorale. She served as Alto Section Leader for approximately 10 years, and is a member of the Rolling Bay Presbyterian Church choir and Schola Nova, as well. She has lived with her family on Bainbridge for 18 years, raising both children here. Son Evan is now a senior at UW in Tech Theatre; daughter Kate is now a freshman at Western. In September 2012 Lori will have been married 30 years. Her career involves 35 years in the recorded music industry doing record promotion for major labels. Yes, it's still called the record business. Vinyl is making a comeback, she says. She served for 25 years in VP/SVP capacities with budget/personnel/admin/leadership responsibilities. In addition to Chorale, Rolling Bay Presbyterian Church choir and Schola, she has also been involved in Boy Scouts, various kids' sports activities, the Bainbridge High School band program, Ovation Musical Theatre, and BPA. She has studied voice, dance and acting on Bainbridge. Five years ago she completed a B.A. degree at Antioch in Transformational Leadership, 30+ years and 6 colleges/universities after she started. |
