Stephanie Harris, MANAGING DIRECTOR

Stephanie has been a member of the Chorale since 1974, servinf as a member of the Board of Trustees and as Treasurera of the Chorale until 2009, when she resigned from the Board to become Managing Director. She is also a charter member of Schola Nova of Bainbridge, which sings a monthly Evensong service in the chant tradition.

She and her husband Juris Zommers have been partners in Harris/Zommers Interiors since the 1970's. Stephanie's educational background includes a degree in linguistics, which seemed at the time not entirely practical, but has come in handy when the Chorale has had to learn works in French, Italian, Latin, German, Hebrew, Latvian and Korean. She currently divides her time between the interior design practice, her garden, an ever-increasing number of grandchildren and the Bainbridge Chorale.
