Susan Thatcher

I am a supporter of BI Chorale and singer for the last five years.  I join groups for education and if I do not grow in the process, I do not remain.  I am a life long advocate of good music, whether it be chorale, symphonic or opera, and my background in piano is mainly classical.  I have been a donor and supporter of Seattle Opera for the last twelve years.  I believe in discipline, and hope that BI Chorale will grow in that respect with our wonderful Michael at the helm.

I have three grown children and six grandsons, two of whom I have started in piano.  My background has been as accompanist to vocal and instrumental students, and as a choir member in high school and church choirs.

I bring to Chorale a willing heart, helpful hands and organizational skills.  As long as we continue to live here on the island, I will be glad to work for the success of Chorale.
