Kip Bankart

Kip Bankart joined Bainbridge Chorale six years ago and has served on the Board as Manager of Operations in charge of concert logistics/facilities for the past five years. The ever-evolving Kip has had careers in the restaurant business, telecommunications, landscaping and customer/technical support; he is currently semi-retired as he formulates the next chaper in the ongoing saga. Kip has sung with Community Singers, performing for the elderly, disabled and infirm in various institutions around the Island. He is also a member of Weed Warriors, a tireless group of volunteers who combat the ill-effects of invasive, non-native plants through organized weed pulls and educational outreach efforts in the community.

He and his wife Diane have been residents of Bainbridge Island for 15 years; they feel extremely fortunate to live next to the Grand Forest where they enjoy walking their dogs, Jack and Lakota, every day.
