EDUCATION’S C.O.R.E.
“Chorale Options for Reaching Excellence”

With the MISSION STATEMENT as our guide and Bainbridge Chorale’s constant pursuit of performance excellence, education is our priority. This goal requires continuing the education of singers, future singers and audiences.

The Education Committee has designed a program called C.O.R.E: Chorale Options for Reaching Excellence. Included in C.O.R.E. are lectures prior to concerts, comprehensive orientation for new and veteran singers, master classes for members and to the schools, small group outreach and sight reading and choral skills classes. The Education Committee is also responsible for the coordination and completion of the 25-page member policy and procedure handbook. Throughout the season over 200 handbooks are distributed.

It is the intent of Bainbridge Chorale to continue our programs of investing in our communities, and future audiences through education outreach. Including children in our performances has provided our audience and members with enriching and thrilling experiences. This year we are continuing our program with the school music teachers on Bainbridge Island, to create opportunities for Chorale members and students to share the excitement of singing and learning together.
